The problem with using "dominant hand" ruling is we have encountered several people who claim they are "ambidextrous" and there is no consistency in the way they drink. With one group of members they are right handed and others they are left handed (not very honorable to say the least). Another reason we dislike the "dominant hand" ruling is if you meet a stranger for the first time how do you know they are right or left handed (other than taking their word for it)? For consistency's sake and for everyone involved we enforce the "left hand only" ruling so everyone is on the same page and no questions can be asked.
The question arrises, "What about the people who are already left handed?" To this we simply answer, everyone slips up sooner or later regardless if they are southpaws or not. We have seen MULTITUDES of lefties buffaloed over the years for various reasons and the enjoyment in their defeat never gets old! Your chapter can use any rules you wish as long as it is consistent for the members. We choose to make a hard line in the sand so everyone is on the same page from the start. In good fun with the *ALS ice bucket challenge we would like to offer a Buffalo Club challenge to our members. This challenge is to spread the word about our herd and to do it in good fun. We encourage you to "Buffalo" your self on camera for the honor of the Buffalo Club.
Here is the breakdown of the challenge: 1. Each Buffalo Club member can nominate 2 other members to take our "Buffalo Club Challenge" and buffalo themselves on camera with a bverage to post social media. 2. Members can not challenge the person who nominated them. 3. Nominated members have 24 hours to complete the challenge. 4. Each member can only be nominated once. 5. If a member refuses to take the challenge they are a discrace to the Buffalo Club and shall be kicked out of their local chapter! NOT REALLY, this is just for fun. However, by accepting the "Buffalo Club Challenge" shows your allegiance to the honorable Buffalo Club. Once you have completed the challenge make sure to tag us on Facebook or Twitter (or any other social media site) so we can see your support of the Buffalo Club . Please play responsibly and ONLY CONSUME REASONABLE AMOUNTS OF ALCOHOL FOR THIS CHALLENGE. The miracle cure claims to use an ingredient called Dihydromyricetin, a Chinese tree extract that has been used for centuries in the east to help old men recover from heavy nights of drinking and card playing, along with a mixture of nutrients and vitamins to "help your body process alcohol quicker, protect your liver, and bring the chemicals in your brain back to regular (sober) levels." Here's what some trail participants for the hangover cure had to say: "I usually have god awful hang overs (nausea mainly), I was beautifully fresh the day after some brutal drinking. Much to the disdain of my friends who I am quite happy to keep in the dark over my new magical hangover beating powers. Maybe I will tell them next time" -Val from Texas, USA- "Tried some of this out of curiosity, and haven't looked back. I had a tablet of it with water right before bed after a very heavy drinking session. The next morning, I woke up, sleepy, remembering how many drinks I had put away. Then I realised‚ I felt fine! Just steady, solid, and my stomach felt good. No headache. A little tired, sure, but if it wasn'tt for my breath you wouldn't know I'd been drinking!" -Tony from London, UK- You read about it here first, Sobur is the hangover cure that the world has been waiting for! - Newly launched app allows you to order a beer in any language – Thirsty travelers jetting off around the world this summer will be able to indulge in an ice-cold beer whatever their destination, thanks to newly launched app Pivo. The brainchild of Justin Amey and Ollie Hepworth, the idea for Pivo was sown on a trip to Prague earlier this year, when Justin and Ollie realised that neither of them knew how to order a beer in Czech. A search for a suitable app to aid the thirsty travellers in their task proved fruitless, so Pivo– the Czech word for beer - was born - the first app in the world that allows you to order a beer in 59 languages. Intrepid travellers simply need to download the app to access not only written phonetic instructions on how to order their favourite tipple, but also a short video tutorial for each language featuring a native speaker teaching you how to get the pronunciation exactly right - with a particular highlight being the enthusiastic Welsh tutor! Justin Amey, creator of Pivo commented: “We couldn’t believe it when we landed in Prague and couldn’t find the help we needed to indulge in one of the Czech Republic’s most famous exports. We’re really proud of Pivo, which we hope will prove invaluable to travellers this summer, whether they’re heading off to exotic locations or holidaying closer to home. Whether it’s a beer in Burma, an ale in Argentina or a lager in Latvia, Pivo really is a must-have for thirsty holidaymakers.” Designed by the Bournemouth-based Walker Agency and priced at just $0.99, Pivo is now available to download from 13 June 2013 on iTunes.
