United Kingdom, - Wine magazine, By The Bottle, expands into China market
By The Bottle, which launches its second edition this week, has attempted to further expand into the Asia market by creating a digital magazine that can be read in both English (portrait) or Chinese (landscape), depending on which way it is held.
Geordie Clarke said, “Our first edition had more than 3,000 downloads, with the vast majority stemming from the UK, the US and China. We weren't expecting such a huge interest from the Asian market, but as we now know that it’s there, we have decided to create a magazine that can be read both languages.”
In this edition, there are articles focusing on a broad range of topics, including how to deal with a hangover at work, expensive wines that are worth the cost, how to make an Old Fashioned, how to bet on the horses and how to work your way round a wine shop.
The new issue is available for free on iPad and iPhone and can be downloaded here (http://bit.ly/10YEt7x )
About By the Bottle
By the Bottle is a very consumer focused and light-hearted digital magazine, which aims to provide a one-stop-shop for wine lovers, with a good smattering of lifestyle articles too.
Much of the content is not written by trained journalists but instead by bloggers and wine enthusiasts working both within and outside the wine trade. These are people who are passionate about the things they are writing about and have something interesting to say.
