The problem with using "dominant hand" ruling is we have encountered several people who claim they are "ambidextrous" and there is no consistency in the way they drink. With one group of members they are right handed and others they are left handed (not very honorable to say the least). Another reason we dislike the "dominant hand" ruling is if you meet a stranger for the first time how do you know they are right or left handed (other than taking their word for it)? For consistency's sake and for everyone involved we enforce the "left hand only" ruling so everyone is on the same page and no questions can be asked.
The question arrises, "What about the people who are already left handed?" To this we simply answer, everyone slips up sooner or later regardless if they are southpaws or not. We have seen MULTITUDES of lefties buffaloed over the years for various reasons and the enjoyment in their defeat never gets old!
